Low Calorie Strawberry Lemonade

A naturally sweet lemonade that uses real strawberries instead of sugar syrup. Each glass has a full serving of fruit and loads of vitamin C — perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 2 lemons, juiced (about 1/4 cup)
  • 2 cups cold sparkling or still water
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Blend strawberries with 1/4 cup water until smooth.

  2. Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds (optional).

  3. Combine strawberry puree, lemon juice, honey, and remaining water in a pitcher.

  4. Stir well until honey dissolves completely.

  5. Serve over ice, garnished with fresh mint leaves.
