Pork Chops with Apples
A classic combination of savory pork and sweet caramelized apples.
Ingredients
- 5 oz pork loin chop, boneless
- 1 apple, cored and sliced
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp honey
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Sear in olive oil over medium-high heat, 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove pork. Add apples and onions to the pan.
- Cook 4-5 minutes until caramelized. Add honey and thyme.
- Return pork, cover, and cook 3-4 minutes until 145°F.
- Rest 3 minutes before serving.
