Paleo Turkey Meatballs
Tender, herb-packed turkey meatballs bound with almond flour instead of breadcrumbs. They’re paleo, gluten-free, and pair perfectly with zucchini noodles or marinara.
Ingredients
- 5 oz lean ground turkey
- 2 tbsp almond flour
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup finely diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh basil
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Combine ground turkey, almond flour, egg, onion, garlic, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Mix gently with your hands just until combined - overmixing makes tough meatballs.
- Shape into 6 equal meatballs and arrange on the baking sheet.
- Brush meatballs with olive oil.
- Bake for 16-18 minutes until cooked through (internal temp 165°F).
- Serve hot with your favorite paleo sauce or over spiralized vegetables.
