Ingredients

  • 2 oz whole wheat pasta (dry)
  • 5 oz large shrimp, peeled
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp parsley
  • 1 tbsp Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta. Reserve 2 tbsp pasta water.
  2. Heat olive oil. Add garlic and red pepper flakes.
  3. Add shrimp, cook 2 minutes per side.
  4. Pour in marinara and pasta water. Simmer 2 minutes.
  5. Add pasta and toss to coat.
  6. Garnish with parsley and Parmesan.
