Paleo Beef Stir-Fry with Coconut Aminos
A soy-free, paleo-friendly stir-fry that swaps traditional soy sauce for coconut aminos. Lean sirloin and crisp vegetables come together fast in a hot wok for a high-protein weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 5 oz lean sirloin, sliced thin against the grain
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup sliced bell pepper
- 1/4 cup sliced red onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 2 tbsp coconut aminos
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp sliced scallion (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the beef thin against the grain and toss with 1 tsp coconut aminos. Set aside 5 minutes.
- Heat coconut oil in a wok over high heat until shimmering.
- Stir-fry the beef for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove to a plate.
- Add broccoli, bell pepper, and onion to the wok. Stir-fry 3 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Add garlic and ginger, cooking 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Return beef to the wok and pour in remaining coconut aminos and sesame oil. Toss 1 minute to coat.
- Garnish with scallions and serve hot on its own or over cauliflower rice.
